Our services are available to individuals and business entities in Malaysia. We may, at our discretion, accept engagements from clients outside Malaysia where the matter is governed by Malaysian insurance law.

The website provides general information about our practice. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. Legal advice is provided only through a formal engagement agreement.

5. No Legal Advice on Website

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. The law applicable to your specific situation may differ from the general information provided here.

7. Engagement Terms for Legal Services

When you engage Perisai Legal for a specific service, a separate engagement letter or agreement will be issued setting out the specific scope of work, fees, timeline, and terms applicable to that engagement. Those engagement-specific terms govern the delivery of legal services.

Payment

Fees are as stated in the engagement agreement. Payment is required in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Our accepted payment methods will be communicated in the engagement letter. Fees are due within the timeframe specified in the engagement agreement.

Refund Policy

Fees paid in respect of work already commenced are non-refundable. If an engagement is terminated before work commences, fees paid in advance will be refunded less any administrative costs incurred. We will communicate the applicable terms in each engagement agreement.

We maintain strict confidentiality over client information and engagement materials, consistent with our obligations under the Legal Profession Act 1976 and the rules of professional conduct issued by the Malaysian Bar Council.
